This is definitely a non-typical firebox,
and it set the theme for many unique installations that followed. When attempting an "Organic Masonry" project, the most important attribute one must possess is patience.
A good rapport between the client and the mason is the quickest path to an exceptional installation. Keep in mind that this type of masonry is not the cheapest way to go
and this style is not for everyone. For those who do appreciate this style, their reward is in possessing something that is "one of a kind" and truly a piece of art that will endure for generations.
