For this used brick barbeque, I custom designed the fan powered ventilation hood to exhaust into its own
flue, within this chimney.
The hood construction is explained here.
The openings under the counter top now have steel access doors.
Just inside, behind the wall where the hood is attached,
is this fireplace.
